First time buying a 3d printer (always wanted one for the past couple of years) it was easy to assemble except the plug for the display unit. There are 3 slots that the cable could fit in but i guess i wasnt paying attention to the manual. Other than that, as long as you follow and do all the calibration i think you wont have any problem printing. My first print in my life was the benchie and then since it was valentines day, I tried to print 2 roses. It came out pretty good even though it was my first time and didnt know how to configure slicer. Wish it came with more filament samples so i can do more test prints since im still new to 3d printing

Been hearing so many good things about this printer from friends overseas so when it came up on Amazon I jumped onto it. I can tell you now I am glad I did. I have been in the industry for a few years now. Tried nearly all of the 'starter' printers on the market and I can happily say that this one beats them all. For the price you get an included PEI plate and Direct drive. This is nearly unheard of for a starter printer. Even the tools are better. I hate the big wide annoying spatulas this one comes with a nice small slimline one. Extra nozzle is included and a proper nozzle swapper wrench, I actually ironically needed one of these so I am even happier. Installation was easy. I am sick of companies making the gantry sit on top of the bottom and force the screws in from the bottom of the printer. This one slips in nicely on each side and screws in easily. The hot end is easy to attach with a nice belt cable to heat and move the x axis. Truly happy with this printer. It will become one of my go to's. The one thing I would say is make sure to upgrade the firmware when you buy this. I found it very hard to find faults with this printer! Finally another good starter printer in Australia.

I was truly amazed how easy it was to communicate with the seller. They are super responsive and went above and beyond to help! Out of the box the printer does require some work, but once everything is done it works amazing. Very happy with the purchase and Sovol product support!

Ordered direct from sovol. Printer was easy to assemble and it took me 30 mins to get it together. The z offset was pretty simple when following the instructions. I've done a couple of vases and all good so far! Can't complain. This will be my recommendation for new people wanting to get into 3d printing

I am pleased with the purchase. I have 20 + 3d printers at this point and this is my new favorite. I have tested the machine with different filaments like PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, and Polycarbonate. It all come out really nice. My machine is a bit lack of lube on the rod, which is noisy during high speed printing. I added some CLP on the rod, it reduced the noise a lot. It's not perfect, but you can't beat the price. I also amazed by how fast is could print, I was able to knock off 1/3 of print hour compare my other printers by fine tune the settings.

The SV04 IDEX is my third attempt to get into 3d printing in the last few years. The last two printers I tried, I spent more time fighting with the printer than I did actually printing. Both times, it was such a frustrating experience that I threw the printers in the closet and gave up. I am a mechanically inclined person, I have a large CNC router, build custom drones, do all my own car work, etc. So I figured I could figure out 3d printing. After the first two experiences though, I had given up. A year or two went by and I started getting the itch to try it again. I stumbled across the SV01 and did a bunch of research. I decided I would give it a shot. I could not be happier. It is basically assembled out of the box (4 screws left to attach the z axis, attach the LCD screen and then plug in a couple wires). I had mine assembled in about 15 minutes. The test print came out flawless. I have been printing non-stop for a week and everything has turned out great and I have actually been learning about the process and how to fine tune things instead of replacing parts like the last couple printers.
